Recording Apple Gabriel, the Last Trumpet
Mon, Jul 5 2010 13:01

Giving thanks for being able to bring you the great news Marc is now in the studio in Atlanta recording Apple Gabriel, from the well-known and respected vocal trio Israel Vibration, creator of the original 'bionic' roots harmonies.
JahSolidRock Music and Not Easy At All Productions joined hands in starting up this new musical effort, working on another album in the long row of brandnew roots-classics we would love to release in the near future.
Having heard the first results now, we can say Apple is still going strong despite all the sufferations he went through. Spiritually strong and with a few statements that will shock some people.....yes rasta Teach Them Right! and yes indeed bionic it still is....
strictly roots and culture........
We are honoured to work with the living legend and will keep you informed about the progress, releasedate and such....
blessings everytime

FAT REVIEW OF WILD LIFE'S TOO TUFF AT UNITEDREGGAE.INFO

By Angus Taylor On Apr 8th 2009, 06:26 AM | 153 page views
Too Tuff by Wild Life
A celebration of reggae culture and a very promising debut
It’s always nice to hear new reggae talent. All the better, despite the fine works of singers and players from around the world, if that talent is Jamaican.

WILD LIFE - TOO TUFF OUT NOW!
Thu, Apr 2 2009 22:29

"I pass on the baton to the young to itinually defend the real authentic reggae music seen" is what Jah B (aka Bunny Wailer) had to say when he heard the recordings of his pupil George 'Wild Life' Scott....
And so we say welcome to the musical universe of Wild Life!
The air of Jamaica has always been vibrant with talent. But still, it doesn’t happen every day that a debut album of an upcoming artist shakes up the musical scene with a lion roar like ‘Too Tuff’ of Wild Life does. With a voice like thunder, direct from Kingston, JA, Wild Life presents his very first album to the world.
Just sit back, relax and listen to these 13 intense reggae tracks. Listen to a song called ‘The Voice’, which is an almost African style version of recalling the hardship of ghetto life in Kingston: ‘The voice of the ghetto youth echoes through the streets…and no food to eat.’ Too tough to handle? The voice of Wild Life can be smooth like a mountain breeze, to find it suddenly turn into a strong wind of change. Wild Life’s debut shows him as a true versatile and inspiring artist. Bridging traditions rooted in the motherland Africa, with modern dancehall culture. From roots reggae in Behold (with legendary reggae-veteran Fred Locks) to authentic ska in ‘Thiefin’ Johnny’, to groovy riddims like the title track ‘Too Tuff’ and ‘Ganja Yard’, that will surely rock every dancehall crew. ‘We're nah easy at all, tuff like Jericho wall’!
