Said Isse

Said is a media and communication strategist with over a decade of experience in policy advocacy, strategic communication, and media development. He is the Co-Founder and Lead of Ubah Media Lab, a social enterprise leveraging media and ICT to drive socio-economic development in the Horn of Africa.

An alumnus of LSE’s MSc in Media, Communications and Development and the Programme for African Leadership (PfAL 14), Said also holds an MA in Global Diplomacy from SOAS, University of London.

His career includes roles with Save the Children International and UNDP, where he designed communication strategies, facilitated youth empowerment initiatives, and directed media programmes in fragile and conflict-affected contexts.

Said’s expertise bridges media, policy, and development, with a strong focus on harnessing communication and digital innovation for sustainable social impact.
