George Gotua

George Gotua is a social researcher based in Tbilisi, Georgia, with over 15 years of experience in policy research, project evaluation, and international development. He currently serves as a Researcher/Fundraising Manager at the Ilia Chavchavadze Center for European Studies and Civic Education and as a Visiting Lecturer at Ilia State University, where he teaches courses on global social changes and research methods. His research focuses on political networks, informal institutions, and social practices in the South Caucasus region. George holds an MA in Development Policy and Government from the Centre Européen de Recherches Internationales et Stratégiques (CERIS) in Brussels and has contributed to numerous research projects funded by organizations including UNDP and USAID. He has co-authored reports on topics ranging from women's participation in community development to media discourse analysis in the Georgian context.
